The 310 and 325 are the same except the 310 uses a 2hp variable speed motor, and the 325 uses a larger hp spindle drive. The 425 is a larger version of the 325, larger spindle drive, larger table, larger footprint, heavier. Under the 325 is usually 30 taper tooling, 325 and bigger is usually 40 taper tooling.
